Anniversary publication: 50 and 70 years of statistical knowledge

In 2016, when NOSOSCO turned 70 years old and NOMESCO turned 50 years old, both committees engaged in various projects and initiatives. These were launched in the committees in consultation with the respective presidency countries. The committees were also subject to an external evaluation enacted as a special user survey. While the work was ongoing, the committees’ delegation leaders decided to create a publication with the working title: “Postscript to the 2016 anniversary”.
With this anniversary publication, the delegation leaders want to honor the countless experts who have developed and produced statistics in the social and medical areas in the Nordic countries over the decades.
