Living conditions for children in low-income families

Nordic Welfare Centre lead a Nordic project on children growing up in persistent low-income families. Together with representatives from the Nordic countries and regions, Nordregio and Nomesco-Nososco take part in the project as cooperating partners.

News from first meeting and project start-up

Nomesco-Nososco is taking part in a project on "Living conditions for children in low-income families". 

The project focus on families with a persistently low income and the knowledge that these families suffer from economic, social and health challenges. Especially children growing up in families with low-income risk experiencing marginalization and social exclusion themselves. 

In this project, launched by Nordic Welfare Centre the aim is to increase knowledge about effective interventions in the Nordic countries and regions for children growing up in families with persistently low income.
